I always thought that was kinda weird. Putting a price on people's souls. Back then a person's soul could be drafted onto God's team for a mere quarter.

But then sometime last year they were talking about Speed The Light again, and said that for every $1 we gave, one person came to know God.

Wow, the price of souls are going up worse than the price of gas!

Then last week I heard that for every $3 we give to Speed The Light, one person comes to know God.

So, if that info is right, our souls are now worth 12 times what they were a few years ago!

Pretty crazy, huh?

You hear the sarcasm, right?
I hope no one gets offended by this.
It's just an observation.
Not even necessarily to prove a point or anything.

When I woke up today I was looking back on 2007, and thinking about what events stood out in my mind. I decided my favorite moment of 2007 happened in Guyana, South America on July 21st. We were just about ready to leave the jungle, and I was standing on the dock looking out at all the trees. It was pouring down rain, just as you would expect in the rainforest. I think that's when it hit me where I was. It was one of the most beautiful moments in my life. It may not sound that significant, but it was to me. It's times like those, out in nature, when I feel most at peace.

Happy 2008 everybody.
