I've had a blogspot for quite a while now, but could never think of anything to blog about. So I always ended up starting blogs, messing around with them and making them look cool, then just deleting them because I had nothing to write about!
But yesterday I was thinking about it, and I think I'd be more motivated to write if I had an audience. So I'm letting everyone know this blog is here, so maybe I'll be more motivated to write.
I really have no idea what this blog is going to be about. I've just had that title "Keep your chin up as you untangle God" in my head for quite a while now. It's a line from the Sleeping At Last song Careful Hands (which you can listen to down below). That's what I've been trying to do these past few months. Keep my chin up as I untangle God and His ways. Thinking about my faith is overwhelming at times. There are so many things I don't understand. It's easy to get discouraged, but I'm trying not to let that happen.
I'll probably write about my faith quite a bit. Stuff that confuses me about God and Christianity, and the things I'm learning about God each and every day.
But if that doesn't work out, or I run out of stuff to write about, then this may just turn into a photoblog. I'm planning on posting a photo with each post. It may be a photo I've taken, or one from Flickr I find particularly intriguing.

Today's photo is of my dog Jesse. I took it at around 4, a few hours after the snow had let up.
Oh and if you ever want more info on any of the photos I post, you can always just click on it, go down to "additional information" and click on "more properties". That will tell you what type of camera the picture was taken with, what time it was taken, whether or not the flash was used, what settings the camera was on, etc. ;-)
